My Story

Rootbound began the way most things worth doing do – quietly, at a late hour, with a feeling that something was missing.

I’m K.F. Rootbound, a writer and digital designer making journals, planners, and digital tools for people who live at the edges of things. The kind of people who keep dried flowers in notebooks and feel things a little too fully.

Rootbound has two collections. The Daylight Collection is warm and botanical. Think – parchment, moss, and morning light. The Midnight Collection is darker, stranger, and a little more honest about the weight of things. Both are made with care, and both are made for you.

Everything here is independently published. No algorithms decided it should exist. Just a person at a desk, making something real.
